Forget about traditional training. There is a better way to learn!

An article published by respected economics magazine wired.com highlights the need to educate work teams. 

 

The author questions the effectiveness of traditional training. As an example, he cites the expenditure of $350 billion that US corporations invested in full-day employee training systems in 2015. As he states a miracle was expected, which did not happen. He shows that training based on digital solutions – giving the employee the opportunity to decide what knowledge and skills they would like to acquire – is more effective.

 

In addition to skills and expertise, the need to develop soft skills – such as critical thinking, adaptability, problem-solving skills and leadership – is cited as most important. 

 

Smart organizations that understand the need to educate teams will thrive in the years to come. In a time of constant change, learning the skill of learning may be the most important skill of all.
